August 9th Cedar Point Trip

"I came so that YOU might have life, and have it more abundantly." (Jn 10:10)

God wants you to be happy!  As we prepare for the 2017-2018 year of Youth Ministry, we are going to hop on a charter bus together and venture up to do a FULL DAY at Cedar Point!  This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate life and build strong Christian friendships.


Cost: $65 (includes retreat costs, admission to park and bus) Did you know that the cost of a single one day admission to Cedar point is $59.99 alone.  This trip is a deal!


7am - Meet for Mass at St. Patrick

7:30am - Board the bus

10am - Arrive at Cedar Point (students will be in small groups with CORE team members)

- Groups will be on their own for lunch and dinner.

8:30pm - Get on the bus to return home.

11:00pm - Arrive at St Patrick's (Students will make calls to give an ETA while on the road)

Details and Notes

  • Eat breakfast before you arrive.
  • Day packs are not encouraged to bring to cedar point as they are not allowed on some rides. If you do bring one, you can rent a locker.
  • Cedar Point does not allow people to bring food or drink into the park except for unopened water bottles.

What to bring

  • Money for lunch and dinner (budget at least $20)
  • Cell phone (highly encouraged)
  • Sunscreen/Sunglasses
  • Snacks for bus.

2017 Senior Trip

Senior Trip - May 30 - June 1

Trip Overview: We are celebrating an amazing senior class and their time of formation at St. Patrick by organizing the 2017 Senior trip.  Our parish is so proud of our seniors and wants to send all you seniors off with one final adventure rooted in Christ, the Sacraments, friars and CORE team.  This year we are going to Ohiopyle, PA for a rafting trip on the Lower Youghiogheny River.  We will also be renting a vacation house prime for community and fellowship, going on hikes, celebrating the Sacraments, and looking forward for the adventure that God has in the next chapter of life!

Costs: $125. The cost covers transportation, house rental expense, rafting expenses,  meals (except for dinner on Monday, lunch on Tuesday and Thursday).

$50 Deposit due Apr 19th

Remaing Balance ($75) due May 16th


Schedule - Tuesday May 30

7am - Meet for morning Mass @ St. Patrick

7:30am - simple breakfast (provided for you) in Patrick Hall

8:30am - depart for Ohio Pyle, PA

---Lunch on the Road (you provide)

12:30pm - Arrive at our house and get acclimated and hang out (CHECK OUT OUR HOUSE HERE!)


3:00pm - Go to Natural Waterslide and Enjoy Creeking

5:30pm - Go back to house for dinner and free time

8:30pm - Evening Holy Hour

9:30pm - Evening Free Time

11:30pm - go to bed

Wednesday June 1

7:30am - wake up, breakfast

8:30am - Head to Ohio Pyle Trading Post for Rafting Trip

9:00am - RAFT! NOTE Well, we are doing a guide escorted tour.  That means that a professional river guide will be in a kayak and we will be in our own rafts taking the guides direction.  Details of the trip can be found here:

Each person will need to sign their release form here:

3:00pm - Tour around the town and grab ice cream.

5:00pm - Head back to House for Dinner and Free Time

7:00pm - Mass and Evening Adoration Ministry Session

11:00pm - Go to Bed

Thursday June 1

7:30am wake up with Simple Breakfast (provided for you) and morning prayer

9:00am - Mass in the house.

10am - Head out to go hiking in the state park.  Visit cucumber falls

12:30pm - Depart for St Patrick's 

4:30pm - Parent Pick Up @ St Patricks

Notes & What to Bring

Our seniors will need to bring:

Sleeping bag & pillow

Appropriate clothing

Bathing suits for rafting (no 2 piece suits for girls)

Sandals (well strapped for not falling off) or water shoes for rafting



Toiletries (there will be showers)

Cell Phone

Water Bottle

Personal Spending money (we will be at least buysing 2 meals)


High School Canoe Trip

All high school students are invited to a canoe trip and cookout. 


When: Monday July 17th from 2:30-6:30pm

What: Canoeing from 2:30-4:30pm, Cookout on the river from 4:30-6:30pm with games (families welcome - RSVP in registration below).

Who: All High School Families

Transportation: All families should coordinate their own transportation and car pooling.

Registration: Must register online below

Forms: All participants are required to bring this release form signed at the drop off along with the $10 canoeing fee.

All families attending the cookout should bring along a dessert or side dish.  We will be providing hot dogs, brats, chips and bottled water. The drop off and cookout locations can be found on this map here.
